Search
A dynamic search is proposed to allow users to quickly find the information they are seeking in the format they desire. The user may select as many criteria as necessary to search for a specific result, or may select fewer criteria to broaden the number of results. Some functions proposed are:
- The Result Type (Audio, Images, Letters, Reports, Transcripts, etc.) may be used to find a specific type of artifact.
- The Word Search may be used to specify keywords and/or phrases.
- The results can be narrowed per Trip or Location
- The Term (Freedom schools, Ministry of Presence, etc.) can be specified.
- A specific Person or characteristic (Race, Religion, Club Affiliation) may be selected.
Search Results
An index of matching results will be provided with summary information to help the user specify the results they wish to view.
Media Player
An interactive media player is proposed that will allow users to view audio and images associated with their selected search result. The media player will allow users to:
- Play the selected audio clip from the search.
- Hear audio from related discussion questions.
- Hear audio from related chapters of the audio source.
- Hear audio from WIMS members who were part of the selected trip.
Interactive Biography
An interactive biography is proposed that will allow users to view images, biographical information, artifacts, and discussion questions and answers (in audio, artifact, and text formats) for each WIMS team member.
