The Environmental History Caucus is a graduate student led group for people to share their passion for environmental history. This field has the potential to bring together scholars of a wide variety of interests, such as students of politics, conservation policy, cultural and regional history, technology, ideology, social environment, and “built” environment. Also, the caucus embraces scholars who simply want to find out how they can incorporate environmental history into their projects and research interests. Throughout the year, we will hold a variety of events. First, the caucus provides a forum for graduate students and professors to receive feedback on working ideas, potential articles, conference presentations, and dissertation chapters. Presentations do not require pre-circulated papers. Second, the caucus seeks to attract major scholars in environmental history to share their knowledge. Check out our contacts page to get involved. |
